Help with signing in

Setting up your account, signing in, getting back in if you are locked out, and signing in at the site tablet.

Getting into your account

Signing in on site

How do I set up my account from an invite?

  1. Open the invite email from the company you work for and tap the button in it.
  2. Check your first and last name.
  3. Choose a password of at least 8 characters and type it again.
  4. Tap Set up account. You are signed in straight away and taken to your own home page.

Good to know

  • The link works once and lasts 7 days. If it has expired, ask whoever invited you to send you a new invite. Only the newest link works.
  • Use the email address the invite was sent to.

How do I sign in?

  1. Open the sign-in page.
  2. Type the email address you were invited with, and your password.
  3. Tap Sign in. You go to your own home page: workers and crew to the app, subcontractor offices to their portal, admins and site managers to the dashboard.

I've forgotten my password

  1. On the sign-in page, tap Forgot password?
  2. Type your email address and tap Send reset link.
  3. Open the email and tap the link within 1 hour.
  4. Choose a new password (at least 8 characters), type it again and save it. You are signed in, and signed out everywhere else.

Good to know

  • Only one reset email is sent every 15 minutes. Check your spam folder before asking for another.

It says "Too many attempts"

  1. After 5 wrong passwords, signing in is paused for 15 minutes.
  2. Wait, then try again. Or use "Forgot password?" to get in now: resetting your password lifts the pause.

I work for more than one company

  1. Use the same email and password for every company.
  2. After you sign in, choose the company you are working for.
  3. If a second company invites you, open their email and tap the button. There is nothing new to set up: tap Sign in to accept and sign in with your existing password.
  4. Check your name, and tick the box if you want to share your current training certificates with them. The page lists exactly which ones. Then tap Accept and continue.

Good to know

  • Certificates are shared only if you tick the box, and only when you accept. The new company gets its own copy and checks it before it counts.

Signing in at the site tablet with a PIN

  1. At the site entrance, find the tablet that says "Enter your 4-digit PIN".
  2. Type your PIN. The tablet takes a photo and says "Signed in" with your name.
  3. When you leave, type the same PIN again. It says "Signed out".

Good to know

  • You do not need the app or an email address for this, just your PIN. The company you work for gives it to you, or for subcontractor crew, your supervisor or your office.
  • The tablet only signs you in once you have done the site induction. No phone? The site team can induct you in person.
  • Forgotten your PIN? PINs can't be looked up. Ask whoever gave you yours for a new one. The old one then stops working.
  • Too many wrong PINs pause the tablet for a short while. Wait and try again.
  • Visitors do not need a PIN: tap Visitor sign in on the tablet instead.
  • Never share your PIN. The photo shows who signed in.
  • If the tablet says "Offline", type your PIN as usual. Your sign-in is saved and sent when the connection is back.

Signing in at the site tablet with a QR badge

  1. If you have been given a QR badge (a wallet-size card), tap Scan my badge on the site tablet.
  2. Hold the badge up to the camera until the tablet says "Badge read", then look at the camera: it takes a photo and says "Signed in" with your name.
  3. When you leave, scan the same badge again. It says "Signed out".

Good to know

  • The badge works instead of your PIN, with the same checks: you still need your site induction, and any certificates the site needs.
  • It only works at the tablets of the company that gave it to you.
  • Lost your badge? Tell whoever gave it to you straight away. They cancel it and give you a new one; the old one stops working.
  • Never lend your badge. The photo shows who signed in.

Still stuck? Ask whoever invited you to Shamrock Comply.
